The Medical Journal of Australia

The aim of the MJA project is to develop a new model of peer review, using electronic publishing on the Internet, that allows:

  • Open scrutiny of articles and the peer review process itself, by electronically publishing articles with reviewers' comments
  • Faster publication of research by electronic delivery without prejudice to print publication, which is regarded as the "gold standard" of academic publication.

Australian Caption Centre

The Australian Caption Centre (ACC) is the national not-for-profit organisation that produces captions for television, video and ads for the benefit of people who are deaf or who have a hearing loss. The aim of the ACC is to provide the best captioning service possible and ultimately to ensure that all television programs and videos in Australia are available with captions.

University of Sydney Library

The University of Sydney Library site provides a comprehesive look at documention available concerning the library as well as providing valuable on-line interfaces to such services as interlibrary loans and ordering new material for the Library.

Jurassic Technologies Revenant

The 10th Biennale of Sydney: Jurassic Technologies Revenant shows the work of 48 artists from 24 countries within Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia and the Americas.

The 10th Biennale of Sydney ran from July to September, 1996.

The RFDS is currently examining methods to disseminate information over its wide service areas--both to those currrently part of the organisation and those interested in joining.

Chemistry Online

The Chemistry Online system provides student and staff in the School of Chemistry at the University of Sydney with a web-based approach to teaching and assessment. Student may access quizzes and submit answers and staff may mark submissions all through the online interfaces. The Chemistry Online system is a web interface to an underlying database system which stores and manages all information for the project. Demonstration access should shortly be available.
